Hi there, Mark! I am really impressed with how you're doing. It's great and I support you all the way. You say you aren't able to do much, but then I think you're capable of doing much more if you believe you could. Of course, don't hurt yourself in the process.

I saw that you were able to jog on the spot. So I thought of this program that you MIGHT be interested in. It's from CoolRunning.com. It's called the From Couch Potato to 3K program. You can do this at the park.

First of all, you warm up for 5 minutes. Then you jog (at your own pace) don't be pressured to go fast or whatever. Just jog at the pace you did while jogging on the spot.

Jog for 1 min 30 secs. Walk for 1 min. repeat for the next 20 mins. Which is actually 8 sets.

Perhaps for the first time of doing so, maybe you can do 4 sets first and see how it progresses.

Don't forget, eat frequent small meals. Make sure the time between meals is between 2-4 hours.

Drink lots of water.. preferably 3 litres a day. It would help your water retention, too. But it's tricky. Not enough water can cause your water retention worse too.
